Ok, I changed my account user name so it can be different from the user name in the backup I'm migrating from. However, while migrating, the screen went dark and my log in screen came up. But, I can't log in because although I'm putting the right password, the log n screen still has my old user name.
The bright side is that I had the app Caffein running so while it dimmed to the log in screen, the iMac is not asleep. So what do I do? should I go to sleep and let the migration finish and then force shut it down or shut it down now and start all over? If the latter, will it be bad?
