Hi,
I was installing the Apple Jam Packs the other day and I began noticing these goofy alerts popping up periodically:
Alert Title: Something Happened
with an option to "Cancel" or "Okay"

It has a little GarageBand guitar icon on it. I've done a bit of googling and found a few threads. The only listed solution was to go into startup items and delete alerts, but there were none. Has anyone experienced this before? It looks malicious. I don't think Apple would design such a retarded alert.

First and foremost: how did you get the Jam packs?

Second, can you screenshot the error messages? Maybe then we'll have a better idea of what's going on.

Legit

They are the original disks. I bought them. I will screenshot it next time it happens.

Disregard

Nevermind. Looks like it only happened during the actual installation. Hasn't happened since.

Installer (I think) can use AppleScript to do scripting during installation. Those alert boxes must've been unfinished error/debugging code from the guys who made the installer.

It couldn't be malicious if it's from an official CD.
