Alerts sounds not coming in on IOS8

Hey everyone,

Couple questions.

1) Has anyone noticed the alert sounds for Paypal isn't the cash register ching ching sound when something is sold but the Tri-tone text message sound instead?

2) Anyone having issues with alert sounds coming through in IOS 8. Im not on Do not Disturb and I'm not on silent. Notifications are on for apps I want to be notified about.
