I have all of my pictures organized into folders that had names containing the dates, people, and places the pictures were taken. Then I wrote a script that would grab all of the picture folder's names and create a soft link into another folder, call it 'screensaver folder'. I would then have my screensaver point to the soft links of the other folders in my 'screensaver folder'.

Since I've updated to Yosemite, soft links to folders, files, or even aliases are not recognized by the screensaver program. The message is 'No Photos' on the screensaver gui. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

I would like to keep aliases because it helps me show only the pictures I want to show from the dates and places that match my script's criteria.
