Alias has taken over all folders in pictures imaxc

Please help imac with 10.12.2

Somehow i have changed all my folders in pictures to have alias at the end of each name. I Am at a lost how to turn them back to the correct name.

These folders contain all my pictures and picasa will not work with the alias files.


How can i change them back at one go ?

I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying that in your Pictures folder, every file ends in " alias"? So "IMG_3734.JPG alias", for example? I can see how you could accidentally create aliases, but I would expect the originals to also be there. Are you sure the original (non alias) files are also in that folder?
