Hey all,

I’ve tried everything I can think of to get this AW3225QF to look like my MacBook Pro 14” screen but the are colours always off.

I’ve tried Creator mode with both sRGB and DCI-P3, with the gamma set at 2.2 and 2.6 respectively. I’ve tried Standard mode, warm and cool modes etc. but the colours are always weird.

I could not care less about colour accuracy. My day is spent reading documentation, Slack, web calls etc. I *love* the way the MBP 14” looks so that’s my benchmark :)

Any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: After playing with it some more, I’ve settled on “Cool” mode with Dolby Vision set to “Off”. Brightness/Contrast is 63/99. Looks pretty close to the MBP 14” to me.

Because "the way the MBP 14" looks" is subjective, it's difficult to suggest a solution. Making things more difficult is the fact that the Alienware screen is only 163ppi (not retina) and the Mac is 254ppi (highter than retina baseline).

Along with Dolby Vision, make sure HDR is turned OFF.
