That is very interesting iGAV. I didn't realize that they had received so many design entries for the memorial. It really shows that so many care from around the Earth about that tragedy.
 
i personally like the new idea (wasn't submitted in time to make the list) of rebuilding the twin towers, but much stronger and huge windows. on the outside they would look almost the same... many new yorkers agree that it's the best way to restore the skyline... i just think this "freedom tower" is too much. it's gosh, impractical, and very at-odds with the current skyline. i'm a huge fan of modern architecture, but sometimes traditional would really be more at peace...
