All Applications Seem to Crash and Freeze My Computer

Hi,

For a little bit while running the DP, I've experienced an issue multiple times where all my apps are shown as not responding, and I can't operate any function of the computer, forcing me to do a hard shut down and reboot it. This gets quite annoying after a few times. I'm using a 15" rMBP. Anyone else experience this?

Can you somehow start activity monitor and check if anything's using all the resources (CPU and RAM)? A console log may prove useful as well.
