Hi,
First post here!
Desperate to get my Ipod Touch working properly.
All audio dissapered overnight.
Tried different headphones.
Removed all apps.
Tried restore, and factory reset.
No joy.
It has had no knocks or drops etc, headphone jack looks OK.

I contacted Apple who told me my unit was 77 days out of warranty, and that could get it repaired for £146.00!!

It is a 1st gen Model MA627LL, 16Gb running Itunes 2.2.1
Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks, David

Could you be more specific on what you mean by disappeared? Do you mean that all your music files are gone, or that you still have them but you hear no sound even when a file is playing?

please tell me your running iIPHONE OS 2.2.1 and not itunes 2.2.1? and are the files gone of your ipod or computer? or are you just not hearing the sound?
