All Contacts Disappeared!!

I changed my primary email for my apple id and installed find my friends. I configured iCloud and mid text, all my contact names disappeared. In iCloud.com I have no contacts, on my phone I have no contacts, and I did not back up anywhere.

Am I screwed? Am I missing something blatantly obvious?


..or will I have to make an annoying Facebook event asking for numbers?

Go to the iCloud settings on your iPhone and turn-off Contacts. Your contacts will appear; then, turn them back on in iCloud settings to merge.

That's always the hard way to learn. Good luck. Were your contacts associated with the former account?

For you, to make it easier, I would log into icloud.com and type in your contacts for faster convenience of getting them back onto your phone. Typing with physical keyboard saves time, and then it will auto download to your phone and they will be backed up
