I purchased 'The Office' a while back, the complete series, from iTunes when they had a great sale on it and I access it on my Apple TV in the Library tab. I just noticed that even though I have all the episodes and they are named correctly (show name, season x, episode y), it shows the entire series as being only one season. So everything is "Season 1." It wouldn't matter except that when you're in Season 4, there's no way to navigate to it directly. You have to scroll through all the episodes to get to the one you're on.

I tried using "get info" to perhaps edit the season data but it won't let you do that. And now I've noticed the same thing is true of other series I've bought such as "The West Wing" and "Friday Night Lights."

Is there a way to fix this so it's organized by seasons properly?

Notice at the top, it says "1 Season" but you can see the bottom two episodes clearly say Season 2.

Playing via the ATV app should give you the Up Next function and already have the next episode queued up ready to play.

You can also navigate direct to seasons using the ATV app, the only caveat being you have to use search to select the show the rather than going direct to library.
Search for show and select, scroll down one then you’ll be able to navigate through the individual seasons.
Here’s an example using an ATVHD/4K.

Search via the ATV app

Then scroll down one, seasons are individually selectable.
