All iPhone 4 Back Ups Gone ???!!!!

Ok I have been backing up my iphone 4 about 3 to 4 times a week since I got it on June 23rd. I had to do a restore last night and when I went to restore from backup all my iphone 4 backups are gone. The only thing left is my backup from my old 3g on June 23rd & a buunch of really old backups. Anyone know if there is another place to check for my lost backups? Thanks

If you have a Mac you can use Time Machine.

Did you happen to set it up as a new phone? If so, it deletes nearly all your backups. It's like being overwritten.
