"All My Files" not showing all my files

Howdy!

MacBook Pro, OS X 10.11.5

I cannot get Finder->All My Files to show All My Files. I have tried Show Search Criteria, but if I do any editing it seems to restrict the results to a single folder - even when I tap Seach: "This Mac".

Specifically I am looking for large files. For example, I have several movies in MKV format - 2+GB and up. I can find them by looking in the specific Folder, or searching by name, but they will not appear in All My Files.

What am I doing wrong?
