For the past couple days, all four of my HomePods haven’t been able to connect to the internet. No changes were made to them or my internet setup that I know of (and I live alone). All my other devices connect to internet WiFi fine. I’ve had them for years and don’t remember having any issues until now.

OG single
OG stereo pair
Mini single

All on 18.1 software.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Edit-
Ok now it’s working intermittently. Of course right after I created this thread. But it’s still intermittent so that’s confusing.
Also I forgot to note that I did restart all my HomePods, but that didn’t fix the problem. There are updates available for them but I haven’t tried updating. I’m always hesitant to update my devices until I’m sure the update runs well across the board.

Restart your Internet router and get them all up-to-date.

Whilst I do understand being hesitant wanting to update to the latest and greatest, 18.1 is far too old now.

Thanks, I restarted my router and modem and that seemed to do the trick! I didn’t try that before because all my other devices seemed to connect fine, so I assumed it was a problem with the HomePods. But I guess the HomePods are just less able to handle a problematic internet signal than my other devices.
