Hi,
I downloaded some updates to my MacBook Air today, and as per usual, macOS needed to reboot. I've never had a problem before after a reboot, but today, all of my iMessages vanished. Any idea what happened and how to get them back? I don't have time capsule so there's no way to get them from a backup. However, if I hold down the option key and go to Library/messages, I can see that all attachments from my messages saved there. I don't see chat transcripts in this folder, but if I go to the containers folder, I can eventually get to the Messages folder where all of my chats have been archived in the archive folder. Help! Thanks in advance.
