I woke up my macbook this morning to find that Safari 3 has erased all my saved passwords for no discernible reason. I didn't click Reset Safari or anything like that. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but it also erased my user id for my online banking. To get a new one it takes three days in the post and I can't ring them because it's midnight over here.

I'm running Leopard but I don't have time machine. Is there anyway of getting my user id back?

That's terrible. 1Password. Try it. It runs on Keychain and can be backed up.

EDIT: I didn't post a solution because I don't know of one. Maybe someone more proficient can help. Sorry.
