All my text messages deleted!

I don't know If I accidentally swiped across to delete them.

Could it be coz my memory capacity of my iPhone is full and it needed more space so deleted all my text?

New text's iv been sending are their but all my old text have gone?

I havnt backed up in quite a while so don't know if I can retriev the latest ones?

Any way to retrieve all my old texts?

Texts are stored in the backup (Kbase link), but I'm afraid if sounds like any texts made after your most recent backup are gone. :(

I could be wrong, but I don't think the iPhone will self-delete texts, even if you reach the limit of storage capacity.

It doesn't auto-delete texts, OP must have deleted them (or someone using his phone).

Thanks for the info

Try rebooting phone if you haven't already. Only way I can see to lose them all is by individually deleting or a reset settings & content - I assume nothing else has changed.

Short of backup I think they'll be gone for good :(

Think positively. You'll always have the MEMORIES of those texts, and that's the most important thing.

Unless you get Alzheimer's...then you won't even have the memories anymore. But don't concentrate on that.

#3. iOS devices do have a saved history of what was on the device. It's called "iCloud."

iCloud backups only store the most recent backup of the device. This is why it's important, when you notice you've ****ed things up, to DISABLE iCloud backups until you restore so you don't accidentally back up the ****ed up device and lose your good backup.
