All of my apps are gone -suggestions please?

So I have a JB iPhone 4, and I went into the app store so I could install the updates to some apps. Well, once it started to download I put my phone down and just now noticed all of my app store apps are gone. Does anyone know why this happened, and if I connect it to my iTunes will it resync all of my lost?

Try resyncing, or just redownload apps - it's free.

if itunes kept a backup which it should have, just sync it and they will go back on
