K kmann macrumors newbie Original poster Feb 7, 2007 15 0 Atlanta Jul 24, 2007 #5 yep thats whats it, I disabled viewing hidden files and its back to normal, thanks *note what confused me was it did not take affect until I rebooted, apparently if you type "killall finder" at the terminal it will take affect right away
