It doesn't mean anything.
It sure does mean something. ThinkSecret really has never been wrong (or there record is extremely good) and there are PowerMac updates coming, no doubt about it. I'd put money on the next 2 weeks for PM updates ;)

Next Tuesday is the day we get dual core PowerMacs :D

Also, the day iGary doesn't have the best setup :p

Well... I can tell you this...

It'd be nice... I am NO LONGER listening to ANYTHING Think Secret has to say... and I sure am not gonna hold my breath for new PowerMacs.

Hopefully they'll get here before my 30 day return policy on my 2.7 is up... I think I have till the 22nd of October to return it...

Think secret didn't see the Nano coming... and they SURE AS HELL didn't see the new iMac coming... I think they are just making crap up.

Sad, too... they used to be spot on.

I am not getting my hopes up, The site was doing this back in April when I ordered my Powermac. Everyone was hoping for updates at that point in time, and they didn't come until much later.

Shipping fluctuations may be due to the expected volume of the new iPod models, availability in parts for current models, or the fact that Apple likes watching rumor sites speculate! :D

Look at the Spring 2005 revisions of the PowerMac and the iMac/eMac. The PM was last updated on Wed, April 27 and the iMac/eMac were updated 6 days later on Tuesday May 3. This time around though the iMac was updated and the eMac was discontinued on the Wedneday which means that we will see the PowerMac/Powerbook update this Tuesday. Only make sense, right?

I really hope that they do come out with some new Power Mac's next week. I really wanted them yesterday, but next week is fine. I hope that they just don't come out with it next week and start saying that it will be 6 weeks before they start shipping it.

I offer a 2nd condolence to the person who said Think Secret is falling off the mark.

Lately it seems they have really been dropping the ball. Just a year ago they seemed to be king of the rumor world, now with the recent lawsuit, they really seem to be out of synch.

I hope they resurrect themselves, it was always nice to know TS was on the money, now we have no one to look to. Apple Insider.... *shudders*

If they update the pm and not the pb it will be a nightmare for hte people who have been waiting forever. They have to update there whole entire pro line.

UK store says 5 days for all 3 models of PowerMac. In 5 days time it will be Tuesday...... :)

I checked the UK site before the 12th event, and the 2 and 2.7 were on 24 hours, with the 2.3 on 5-7 days, so its promising that they've all been bumped up to 5 days exactly.

If they go down to 4 tommrow i will be very excited :)

well i just bought a dual 2.7 and i just couldn't care less if they are updated next week or not. i have been waiting to purchase since paris and im sick of waiting when i need a new comp to work on. im on a 800mhz ibook and it hates flash. either i will get what i ordered or they will update them and i will get that. at least i will have something.

Same for Canada. 2 lower end models were 24 hours, now it is 3-5 days across the board. Looks promising.
