All sounds coming out of right speaker only?

Am I crazy or is all the sounds basically coming from the right side speaker? Play your iPod & cover the right speaker. Tell me if it is coming out just as loud in your left.

FYI:
on the iPhone 4 the speaker has been moved to the right side, previous iPhones had the speaker on the left

While were on the topic, how load/clear is the speaker compared to the iPhone 3GS? Specifically for music.

BUT re. the above, I compared my 3G and 4 side-by-side and I think the 3G is actually slightly louder and has better bass - though iPhone 4 does seem to have more clarity, it sounded less powerful and I preferred the 3G's sound..

Anyone else done a comparison?

Funny, I thought my iPhone 4 was considerably louder than my 3G.
