My phone has never been dropped, dunked, or defiled, but out of nowhere yesterday, I noticed that my ringtone sounded a little low in pitch ad just generally out of tune. Later, I noticed the same thing with the SMS and email sounds, but I thought maybe I was imagining this since those tones are so brief. Then I spoke with someone I'm very familiar with (via the Bluetooth in my car) and noticed her voice sounded lower than usual (no cold or allergies). I finally got the idea to compare a song on my phone with the same song on my computer (once with headphone, once through the phone's speaker) and it's both confirmation that I'm not going crazy and that my phone is essentially "out of key." It's one thing when I'm talking to someone or listening to an audiobook, but when I hear my ringtone or try to play a song on the car, everyone sounds like some no talent tween Disney singer.

Any similar experiences or solutions?
