After all the issues after updating to iOS 5, finally got WiFi and 3G to work again after multiple restores. Phone was backed up, and all text were showing still (for the last 2 years worth) except on the last restore where I was able to get the services working again, every single text disappeared which never happened before. I had some important text in there, along with funny stuff etc.
Got them back, and all my pics that were deleted. I tried that same backup twice and nothing happened, then on the 3rd restore from that backup text and pics came back. Kinda pathetic that Apple spent way longer on this iOS then previous versions and look how buggy it is .
I think this phone has been restored a dozen times now since iOS 5, never had an issue before with it.
