All that free space you gained...

...is Apple playing with us!

After clean installing El Cap I ended up with about 20GB extra free space compared to Yosemite. After a week of adding stuff and installing applications, guess what? Another 20GB free! This is what Finder and Disk Utility report.

But, when adding up the size of individual folders, the actual free space is much less. This must be a bug. Will let Apple know.

I didn't do a clean install and don't have hard numbers but I swore I gained hard drive space after installing Cap.
