Allok Video Converter alternative for mac

Hi people,

I'm a new Mac-user, just bought my new iMac last week and I'm looking for a good alternative for my video converter that I used on my Windows. I used to use Allok Video Converter and I really liked it. You could add subtitles to the new file, and that's a feature I really like to have again. I use it most to convert .avi and .mkv to MP4, any suggestions?
