Allow custom backgrounds on ‘Simple’ watch face

I really wish Apple would allow custom backgrounds on the simple watch face. The possibilities would be endless. I’m getting bored looking at the same old selection. Also a good few are too playschool, anyone agree?

And if they add custom ones, you'll stare at them too long and then complain that the battery is dying too quickly. The watch faces are just to glance at, believe it or not.

So you're anecdotally speaking for the OP and inserting your own complaint about the battery life? That likely would have a marginal hit on the battery from staring at a watch face versus navigating through the Apple Watch and using other applications in comparison.

The watch faces are just to glance at.

We know that. But what you're saying is irrelevant, the OP would like more customization beyond the current Simple watch face Already included, which would refesh it more. That's not an unlikely request that many have discussed on here for quite some time if you read through these threads.
