I bought a 4K Apple TV on launch but sent it back due to 1. Non auto res/HDR/Hz changing and 2. The fact that it will not let you stream a movie in 4K unless you have a super fast broadband connection.

Awesome news with TVOS11.2 fixing 1, but is there any news of letting those of us with slower bandwidth (I get approx. 12Mb/s) being able to watch in 4K also with a longer buffer?

I have no problems on my TV apps of Netflix and Amazon watching films and shows in 4K HDR/DV so why won't Apple allow it on the Apple TV if unlucky enough to get poorer speeds?
