I used to use a programme called allway sync (for PC only).
It was really good,

I cant find a decent app that will sync folders to other locations such as FTP, network server/share, other folder, external drive.

You could set the time for sync, occurrence, etc.
Error handling, last modified handling.

It would just run in the background.

ALL FREE

Anyone know the mac equivalent (preferably for free).

I use Goodsync which does most of what you ask for very efficiently. Not free though, seem to remember it being about £20 ish ( but not 100% sure on that price).

Thanks, looks really good (like allway sync).
I will consider buying it.
;)
