well ill include a screenshot, i have 8gb of memory installed and all of it is inactive? why is this happening any ideas?

dont worry about inactive once something needs it it will be used by that process/app inactive simply means it was used recently and its in limbo just incase you go back to doing what it was previously doing

no as soon as you need the ram it will dip into the inactive

you can also down free memory from the app store to release the inactive back to free ram to make you feel more confident that its actually free but its only inactive because it was recently used a restart would also free all inactive RAM
