Pulled up some directions on my iPhone 15 Pro last night and had Always on Display activated. Then I locked my screen and noticed two faint smudges on my display. I thought for sure it was image retention or burn-in. So after I got to my destination, I opened up a really dark image and zoomed in to where it was almost as dark gray as the AOD image and sure enough, no spots. Whew!

I then asked a friend to do the same thing on his 15 Pro Max and sure enough, he's got the same smudge in the same place. This is his photo. I purposefully blurred out his location for privacy.

Thank goodness it wasn't burn-in, but what the heck are those blobs supposed to represent? It doesn't make any sense to me.
