Alpine ida-X001 iPod Compatible Radio Hacks

I'm looking for, if they even exist, any hacks/mods for the ida-x001 iPod compatible head unit. I've searched around on different forums, but since Alpine treats the 001 like a forgotten stepchild, all the links/pages are expired. So far all I have found is a wallpaper converter, which is great so I don't have to use the proprietary i-personalize ones. Hopefully someone has something somewhere to pass along. Thankx in advance!
