Well, I noticed that now with Alpine's new AV+N units they have integrated iTunes/iPod even more.

Direct from Alpine's new 2008 Catalog:

Add on the HD Radio module, and when you hear a song you
like, simply press a button on the screen. This iTunes Tagging
feature lets you tag songs you hear on HD Radio™ stations
so you can later purchase and download them from iTunes.

This is pretty cool. Also, I noticed they still do not have USB connectivity for iPhone/Touch, but for all other current models you get USB connectivity as well as video like Pioneer is doing.

yeah those new Alpines look great. Get one with the blackbird navigation unit and your good to go. Waiting for them to officially ship but I plan on getting one as an upgrade to my Clarion DXZ-745MP. Hi-Def radio is actually pretty killer on an amplified system.

Almost wish I didn't have built in Navi on my car, this would be pretty cool.
