Will it make any difference in arrival date if I preorder my iPod touch tomorrow (the 14th) or a week later?

Nobody knows exactly except Apple guys. I would guess it will be two weeks from now, may well be shipped in the first week of October. Apple has to make all resources allocated to the iphone release, which is why they cannot give you an exact time frame as to when the ipods are being considered.

Those are my thoughts anyway, it doesn't really matter when you get it, the wait is the sweetest I guess. BTW, we always get it early in Australia, I hope this time too.
