Hello I recently saw ant article on Digg.com about various Alt-SysRq- key combinations. http://digg.com/linux_unix/Fix_a_Frozen_System_with_the_Magic_SysRq_Keys

Is there an equivalent in OS X? If so does it have to be enabled? If so How?

I freely admit I am a Console newbie I can do such basic commands as Cd, Man, rm (I know it's dangerous), and changing files permissions (this is how I started to get interested in using CLI interface to solve a file permission problem)

Thank you in advance for any answers.
