I currently own a Quicksilver G4 (that has gone through some significant upgrades), but will finally be making the Intel Mac transition in the coming months.
I have a PC that I use for varying tasks, namely some gaming (which is where I use the headset now) but that's really not going to be an issue here in the very near future.

My question involves the headset listed there, the Altec Lansing AHS615 SRS 3D Audio Gaming Headset. I know that many Macs have an issue of not having a true mic port on them, so I'm trying to find out if I'll need to worry about that headset not being fully functional on whatever type new Mac system I pick up.
So, should it work just fine on a MacBook Pro or iMac?
