Ever since Apple's Music app has come along, managing music created in apps like Logic Pro, GarageBand, etc. has been rough.
Ideally, I'd export my music and then manually set up play lists that I can move to my iPhone or other device. iTunes wasn't horrible about this: I could drag a playlist from iTunes/Mac and drop it on my iPhone icon.
The designers of Apple Music apparently don't believe in such elegant simplicity. Instead, Apple Music/Mac supposedly "syncs" via iCloud to my iPhone.
This is a train wreck. Here's why:
Question...
I'd like to try "Share to SoundCloud," provided I can find decent apps for Mac and iOS to let me create playlists (easily) and manage my music, plus listen to in my car or via AirPods on the go.
Is this the best way to go (SoundCloud), or are there better options to consider?
Thanks!

This is a train wreck. Here's why:
- Duplicated Playlists: Whenever I'm able to modify a playlist on my Mac by adding an updated work in progress, I often get new playlists on my phone. I can delete them off my phone, but it's tedious.
- Playlists I can't edit: I create all my playlists on my Mac. Yet, too often I can't move or delete songs Apple Music playlists on my Mac. If it's on iCloud, it's off limits, apparently. Songs are grayed out, even though they're mind and originated *on the MacBookPro* I use for composing and managing music.
- It's a lot slower: Dragging-and-dropping playlists from iTunes to my iPhone was fine. Existing playlists would merely update. I could watch the progress bar and knew when it was done. With Apple Music, it can take 5- to 50 times longer for the tracks to sync from Mac to iPhone! It's unreal how slow this is.
