Something which has occurred to me recently is that if you've got the 38mm Sport rather than the 42mm, your band options are somewhat more limited. If you opted for the 42mm, you can swap out your Sport band for the Leather Loop (assuming you can ever get one delivered) which has the same attachment mechanism as the Sport band, and looks impressively seamless.
If you got the 38mm, however, you're more limited: the LL is not available, and both the Classic and Modern Buckle use a metal attachment mechanism which isn't designed for the aluminum. It presumably won't match as seamlessly as it does with the steel, and there's suggestion that it may cause damage, to boot, so I'm on the fence about how that would look and feel.
I have seen the computer-generated images on that website which allows you to mix and match Apple's options, but obviously real life looks different. I was unimpressed by the Sport case in the generated images, but delighted with it in real life, so I don't trust the images to give a true representation of how the non-Sport bands will look with the Sports. There's always the Casetify straps, but it looks like they also use a metal attachment, so I have the same problem. Because of this, I've been giving adapters a lot of thought.
So, two questions:
1. Does anyone know what the actual Click adapters will look like? Their website shows two completely different images: the one showing various straps background photos looks massive compared to the version next to the "Simple and Intuitive" text. Which one is actually going to production? Is it possible this is the same model from different angles?
2. Has anyone bought one of the non-Sport bands for use with the Sport Watch, and if so: how is it working out for you, and do you have any photos you can share?
