Hello everyone out there..

Does anyone know a way to use older style animations or to replace the existing ones? The reason I ask is because I would like to use different animations for file copying(specifically an image of a floppy disk cover sliding open when copying a file). I just think that would be fun

Another helpful tip instead of alternate animations would be a way to disable all OS X animations. Even though I think they're fun sometimes, I wouldn't mind having windows just open instead of having them slide into view.

Found it!

Apparently, there are individual terminal commands that can disable some animations, but if you want a single application or way to turn them off, use OnyX. It works great and gives me the chance to change my boot screen. awesome.
