Hello.

I am hoping that someone with more brains than I posses can help me with a widget problem.

After reading on the Apple web site that 'If you can create a web page then you can create a widget' I thought that I would create one to display recent updates from my web site. The Apple site said that you could create your widget and preview it in Safari. Great.

After slapping my widget together it does preview o.k. in Safari but doesn't work once installed in the dashboard. I think that this is down to the fact the I have used iframes to display parts of web pages and I am thinking that maybe the dashboard doesn't support iframes. I have also tried using 'object' instead of iframes but this also doesn't work.

My basic question is:- Does anyone know of an alternative to using iframes or object that may work for me? I should point out that my reason for not just using CSS instead of iframes is that I don't want to include any recordset or php info in the widget bundle download.

I am hoping that there is maybe a javascript alternative I may be able to use but I am not that hot with javascript so if you are very brainy in this area and have a suggestion then please reply as if you were explaining it to a ten year old.

The widget and source code can be viewed here:-

Thanks in advance.
