My family is travelling to Europe this coming summer and will be in traditional coach airline seats without power supplies. We were unable to get the business seats for a number of reasons (mainly because there is about 12 of us going and that can be costly). Those seats have plug in spots, however ours do not. Obviously we will be on a plane for 8 hrs and a comp battery wont last near as long as we need. Two of us have macs and a few others have pc laptops. Does anyone know if somebody makes some type of external battery supply (maybe that plugs up throug usb or something) for any type of computer so that we can use them more than just the couple of hours the battery will last? thanks in advance

Can you not survive without your laptops for more than 8 hours? you wont be able to use them during taxi, take off and landing, and youll be eating and doing other stuff during the flight, so its likely you wont get more than 4 hours use out of them anyway.

You can get the devices you want from battery geek

but its quite expensive
