alternative to ClearDock for Leopard?

Hi
I used to use ClearDock to have my apps "freefloating" (no background) when I had the Dock on the side.
Is there anything similar I can do to get this effect in Leopard?

Try removing the Dock files in Dock.app.

I tried removing the scurve files in Dock.app

which sorta works if you have your Dock on the bottom,not on the side.
Removing all the Dock files doesn't sound like a good idea to me, are you sure?

I used this app and it worked for me on leopard , it`s not the same cleardock from insanity .
