I've used Claris Homepage for almost a decade, but i have to run it under classic in OSX. Is there a easy and small OSX program that compares to Claris Homepage? I'm not interested in Dreamweawer and apps in that dimension.
I'm also open to apps that could run in x11 (free software/open source).

wow, claris homepage brings back some memories...

i'd suggest nvu (the composer portion of the mozilla suite). it's available for free from www.nvu.com and has a lot more features than homepage, but should still be fairly easy to grasp.
