Alternative to LiveMotion?

I have made some very crude animations for one of my classes using Adobe LiveMotion over the years. It meets my needs because it is pretty simple (close to making drawings in powerpoint).

But, it's old and PowerPC, so I will lose it when I upgrade to a new machine in a few months.

I'm hoping someone can suggest an alternative?
