Purchased two Griffin Survivor's and sold them do to the fact they have 3 very sharp ridges that you have to jam the phone by to snap it into the case.

Was not going to take a chance with my black iPhone 5 as I'm almost sure these sharp ridges would scratch the crap out of my phone.

I'll keep waiting and see what the Lifeproof case looks like.

For good protection and not so much style in my mind then only two: Otterbox & Lifeproof.

Casemate xtreme is another good one. Good protection with built in screen protector. Wouldn't rate it as high as a LifeProof or Defender but it works well.
