Previously I had a 3G iphone with jailbreak and unlock. I no longer have that phone and may have updated the firmware to iOS 4 prior to its last backup.

Now I have a 3GS 3.1.3 on new bootrom, also jailbreak (spirit) and unlock (ultrasn0w). My goal is to transfer just contacts, apps, media, text messages, and calendars without messing up with firmware and all that stuffs. I want to keep the jb and unlock intact. Again, my new phone has 3.1.3 and the old one may have been updated to iOS4 although I'm not 100% certain. Also I heard that restore from backup can create a lot of problems so I'm trying to avoid that.

So is there a way to just transfer (sync?) what I want (contact, calendar, etc...) over to the new phone? Or is Restore from Backup my best bet right now? Thanks.
