Alternative to Soundboard?

Does anyone have any recommendations as to an alternative to Ambrosia Software's Soundboard app?
Mac version and not iOs.
I've had issues with this app and Ambrosia has not updated it in a long time and they've become REALLY bad about replying to support issues so I need to move on.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Possible alternative for you would be QLab, http://figure53.com/qlab/.

Quite simple to use, however the pro version if needed is quite costly.
