Hey guys I was wondering what would be a good alternative to the Thunderbolt display? I plan on getting a 13inch Macbook Air with 256gb ssd 8gb of ram and the i5 model. I plan on using the Air at school for notes and small tasks and plan on coming home at night and plugging into my work station to do my developer work. You guys have any suggestions for me?

I have an old Asus 22" and with his native resolution (1680x1050) looks pretty ugly. My advice is test it first.

My old Acer notebook (for games) with HDMI and the same monitor with HDMI to DVI adapter looks pretty clear.

Obviously the MBA resolution is important... or a small monitor with 1440x900.

Do you have the model #?
