Hi all,

I would like to burn DVD images in UDF format onto DVD-Rs (=creating a DVD movie safety copy that's readable on standalone DVD players). The disc copy tool of the finder can't handle this, it seems.

I know that Toast can do this, but with that 100 Euro price tag I'm wondering if there are any freeware or shareware programs that can do this as well.

Thanks for any suggestions.

When you find the answer to this, let me know, because currently if you buy windows 7 off their website as an ISO, you need to burn it in UDF format if you want to be able to install windows(Disk Utility does not properly burn the windows 7 installation disk).

I know this is an old thread but to the last question. Have you thought about trying Toast for the Mac?
