has anyone tested alternatives to Apple’s scandalously priced cables that are confirmed to properly fast charge iPhone (8s and then X) with high wattage chargers?

I’m scouting for alternatives...and I’m truly insanely mad at how on earth is it possible that the iPhone is still running a lightning port.

iPad charging brick with standard cable is pretty quick while fast charging.

1:08 AM = 4%
1:38 AM = 42%
2:08 AM = 76%
2:38 AM = 94%

Keep in mind iPhones fast charge from 0-80%. After that it trickle charges which is much slower no matter what brick you use for charging.

I think you have to buy the official usb c to lightning to get fast charging but you don’t have to use apples 29w charger you can use and usb c adapter that supports USB PD
