Alternatives to dot Mac?

Hello All,

I have 2 macs, one on Tiger, one on Panther (for now), that I would like to be in sync as far as iCal and Address Book. My dot Mac experience has been much less than stellar :-( Can anyone recommend any alternatives?

I believe you can sync them over a network, or by connecting them via FireWire. I'm not entirely sure I haven't done it in a long, long time.
